Love the place store our caravan here too.Thought we would use it October half term.As usual the staff are so kind and helpfull. It was just a shame the pool was out of use as being the half term it could if been used x
We found Lanyon Holiday Park purely by chance on the internet and it has proved to be an excellent choice.It's not the biggest park but caters well for tents, tourers and has static homes. The site is well positioned to assess all surrounding attractions. We stayed for 10 days and found the pitch to be well positioned with hedges on either side making it that bit more private.The site has a clubhouse/pub, children's play park and a indoor swimming pool. The site was very clean and well maintained and we found all the staff we found very approachable, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The shower and toilet blocks we always clean and hot water was plentiful.
Lovely park. We stayed in a privately owned caravan but had access to the pool and play area etc. Park is kept very clean and tidy and is well laid out. Lovely atmosphere. Camping fields appear large and well maintained with big plots. Pool is small, but perfect for little ones. Can get crowded when poor weather. Play area has been refurbished and is excellent for the numbers staying at the park. Lots of local information available at reception. Really good central base for discovering most of south and central Cornwall. Quick drive or hike up the road to see a decent sunset. Will surely stay again.
just got back from here. had a lovely couple of days, staff are very friendly and welcoming , the clubhouse is a relaxing place to go for food or a beer / wine. The toilets and shower rooms are immaculately clean and tidy , the staff do a good job and work hard. lovely little site would recommend and will be returning for longer. stay. next year
Excellent camp site. We got a gold pitch. Nice,large and private with hedges. Helps make it quieter. Nice walks locally in Cornish countryside and tin mine area. Extra features such as fridges and microwaves helpful. Good park and small swimming pool. Toilets and showers cleaned regularly (admittedly sometimes not always totally clean due to busy summer hols campers). Convenient for supermarkets and close to A30 so can get good.beaches inside 25 minutes. Recommended.
