My husband and I did a Cornwall tour with Martin last September, 2018. It was all we expected and a fun time. The Cornish coast is really something and, though the weather was not as cooperative as it could have been, Martin used his experience and special "weather predicting talent" to find the best spots with the most sun and never shortchanging our walks. Our accommodations were great as we're all the folks we met. It was a special trip all around!
I went on the walking tour of Tuscany this past September with Adventureline. The owner, Martin Hunt, is a fabulous guide, very knowledgeable about the places we visited and enthusiastic about imparting this knowledge to his guests. The hikes he led us on were sometimes challenging, but manageable, and there was always time to stop and admire the views, which were considerable. Each area we visited was stunning in its own way, but the highlight of the trip for me were the amazing medieval hilltop towns of Sorano and Pitigliano set in the Etruscan Hills, with their narrow, cobbled lanes and wonderful Artisan shops. I will never forget hiking those ancient Etruscan roads. They are truly mind-boggling! This was my first ever walking tour, I met lovely people and had the most amazing experience. If you like an active holiday, meeting like-minded people from other countries, heading off the beaten track to visit extraordinary places, then this is the trip for you. Highly recommended. Thank you, Martin, for a wonderful trip. It has certainly whetted my appetite for more. I'll be back!
Martin is a wonderful trip leader. He is ever cheerful, very knowledgeable and tailors the walks to the guests and the weather. My companion was a little compromised because of a health problem, but that didn't bother Martin. We had a wonderful time in Cornwall.

Our Cornwall walking tour with Martin was one of the best travel experiences we have ever had. He thoughtfully planned the most diverse and interesting of itineraries, taking us to some of the most spectacular places in Cornwall and adapting the plans to suit everyone in the group - even those of use who had a penchant for Cornish cream teas and English gardens! Martin was a highly knowledgeable, charming and engaging guide and his passion for this beautiful part of the world is evident. His care for all group members, including arranging fabulous picnic lunches, was really lovely and we all loved his sense of humour and fun.
