Lovely meal great choice of veg for carvery highly recommend
I am so very pleased that we have found this Inn its fabulous we have started going there six of us every two weeks service by all the girls and the food excellent and everyone very helpful. Was part of a large party having a carvery lunch. The whole place was completely full. Despite this the food was all lovely, hot and fresh with a great choice of meats and vegetables. Thought the price was very good value. The staff were just spot on, all requests for different gravies or extra plates sorted almost immediately. They even wrapped left over meat for customers to take home with them. They deserve high praise for excellent service.
The food was nice and hot but didn't like the chief using the same knife and fork to cut all the meat, I don't eat red meat , when I asked if he would use desperate to cut the Gammon and the turkey he picked the clean ones and did the very thing I asked him not to do and that was he stuck them right in the beef, he took ather knife which didn't look clean and started to cut my Gammon, I did ask him and said if was a different knife and fork.I haven't eaten red meat for 30 years and won't eat anything that has been in contact with it. If I go again I will make sure they are, I did tell the server she even went up and told him I heard her say it. Would you please make sure and respect customers wishes at the end of the day we are paying for the meal.Many thanksJT
Stayed over for three nights, had a nice room with Tv, coffee /tea facilities & telephone in room. En suite bathroom all really very nice! Only problem - the beds are just too small for 2 people. We booked the room with double occupancy. The food was out of this world - the Carvery but the menu was even better! Fantastic!!! The staff very friendly. Plenty parking. You need a car to get around. Prices are fair.
