Such a lovely hotel. We stayed for a few days in August and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful. The food was delicious. My husband especially loved the beer battered onion rings. The live music nights were also excellent. We didn't get to see the spa. But we were in Cornwall, so we were at the beach. Air conditioning would have been nice, but it is a historic building.
I treated my daughter to Sunday lunch today and it was a relaxed enjoyable experience. The reception staff were polite and helpful and the service was fabulous ... we had a table set up in the lounge which made us feel quite special and the waitress, Zane was charming and attentive and made us feel very welcome - please pass on our thanks. Considering it was a late lunch (1500) the food was excellent; plentiful, delicious and well presented. Thank you very much - this could become a regular occurrence.
We had our works Christmas meal here today & it was absolutely wonderful. The staff were brilliant, the service was brilliant & the food was amazing & extremely reasonably priced for what we all had. We will definitely be considering a return visit for Christmas get together next year. Highly recommended
